Considering the scenario, it must be mentioned that compensations and benefit strategies can help an organization position itself as the perfect employer preferred by a huge number of individuals. In this regard, Apple has not been able to be really successful although being one of the leading developers of electronic gadgets. The competing organizations or any other business organization offers a holiday of one day in every week (Daniel Cooper, 2014). While Apple’s employees have a complete scheduled working time of 60 hours a week. It cannot be denied that employees are one of the major assets of an organization and such tight work schedule has led to a fall of eight percent of employees within Apple.

The other business organizations for instance Microsoft and Motorola are focused on enhancing their portfolio and benefit the brand by widening its product line. The companies are focusing on opportunities and looking for possibilities in enhancing on the CDMA categories. While Apple is much more focused on the bureaucratic way of organizational work culture, other organizations are focused on innovative features for attracting the potential customers. For instance, the MOTO X, that have been launched in the recent market have been a huge success, in comparison to the apple’s iPhone 5 and 6. Apple is not open to the opinions of employees and herein lays the flaw of Apple. On the other hand, the success of Motorola, Microsoft and similar other budget products have been due its flexible work culture and compensation offered to the employees regarding their innovative strategies and adaptable work environment.

For the recommendation of strategies, it must be mentioned that Apple needs to shed the bureaucratic strategies taken up by the company and opt for a much more flexible work environment (Rose Johnson, 2011). Apple is much more focused on the rules and regulations, but instead, it is essential to value the opinions provided by the employees. The communication system within the organization needs to be much more enhanced and it should occur in both ways.

The compensation strategies should include the additional bonus offerings and commissions that enhance the motivation within the employees to work harder for the organization and come up with innovative ideas that provides the organization a competitive edge over any other business enterprises of the contemporary period (Sam Ashe Edmunds, 2011). Apple needs to understand that employee motivation is a really important factor to attain an advantageous position within the market.

Another essential factor that needs to be altered is the reduction of the uncertainty avoidance. The problem faced by Apple is because of the fact that a lot of employees are not aware of the incidents, decisions and policies that are taking place within the organization. This affects the overall performance of employees and in turn affects the overall progress of the organization.

The benefits and compensation strategies that can be provided by Apple include the non cash rewards. For instance, the health programs, paid time off, health insurances, not any discrimination towards pregnant women, and these factors will encourage the employees to devote the time and dedication for the betterment of the organization.

The reason, above strategies have been selected is because, it needs to be remembered that performance is directly related to the compensation, benefits and job satisfaction (David Ingram, 2014). For instance, when the employee are provided with a reduced working time and provided with a scheduled holiday on every week, offered additional bonus features for good performance, the employee is more likely to feel motivated throughout the week for the company. Benefits and compensation enhance productivity. When it is acknowledged by an employee that good performance is going to bring additional bonus and perks, it is highly that the employee is going to offer the best.
