I need help coming up with a topic for a group project. For a Managment Leadership Practice Class. The following is what we have as far as instructions:
Have topic that considers a number of important influences that would enable managers and leaders to improve the organization’s outcomes.
Each team member writes about one specific area or influence that a leader or manager could exert. Examples might be change, a good matrix organizational structure, deploying Theory Z, the results of situational leadership, etc. Notice the focus on outcomes – do not provide too much detail on the method of deploying your approach, but consider how it works and delivers improvements to the organization.
We have 5 members that would need a section to write about. I need help finding an overall topic, so that we can find 5 theories to help improve the overall outcome.

One good choice as a topic for your project is:
“Different types of leadership styles, pro and cons of each leadership style and their practical relevance in the modern business environment”
Under this topic, following 5 leadership styles can be taken:
1. Autocratic Leadership Style
2. Democratic Leadership Style
3. Situational Leadership Style
4. Transformational Leadership Style
5. Transactional Leadership Style
Each member of the group can take one leadership style and write sections as per the guidelines of the projects. Further, prominent leaders can also be identified under each type of leadership to make the project more impressive.
Alternatively, Maslow hierarchy of needs can be taken as a topic and each member of your group can pick one type of need. Further, different ways can be identified to fulfill all the needs so that firms can motivate employees and best performance is delivered.
