Question

Health care issues turn into law in many ways. Usually, a new debate in health care surfaces, and then the controversy leads to the formation of a law. But how exactly does this happen? Sometimes a health issue is supported by a lobby group. Some issues start as a means to correct problems in patient care. Some health laws are created from public advocacy. Regardless, should these current approaches in place today be considered “best practice?” Defend your yes/no stance. Share your thoughts on how health care issues become law. Try to point to a specific example. Do you approve of this process? Evaluate how this plan can be improved, support with specific examples

Explanation / Answer

I believe that the vias raised through which passes the path of the bills concerning health care has to be considered worthy advantages. In some ways reflects some part of the daily reality experienced by pscientes. When a problem emerges in the wake of a scandal or news event, it is the same population that is showing interest in the rulers avoquen that matter, so we drifted apart a bit of the view that the initiatives must be born groups of technocrats and not people.

However, many truly crucial elements to keep improving the quality of life of patients are not news and therefore do not receive adequate attention, either because they affect a specific group of people or because those affected do not figure prominently in the society, so their needs are ignored.

An example is whole campaign is making the first lady of the US to combat childhood obesity, this is not a recent problem at all, however, had not been approached by the public policies so far, and partly due it affects the population with lower levels of education and largely dysfunctional homes who do not have time for homemade meals and frequent junk food.

Ideal for the process of legal initiatives in serious health interest groups to organize and give strength to their demands, is the case of patients with AIDS, cancer patients, nurses, doctors, hospital administrators, in short, that legislators receive the most varied views that laws contribute to solving the real problems.
