1) To understand the requirement of the shop floor
2) To find out the exact capacity
3) To check how much capacity is actually used.
4) To collect the data of all the machines.

6) To study the type of layout
7) Recording of timings , motions , operations in sequence.
8) After collecting all above data analysis can be performed to finding the facts & results

Suppose after finding the all the facts , data , collection , recording etc.If results are not encouraging then refer the following steps
1) Check all the process that has been followed
2) Take a look on the all collected data that whether all process have been considered or not
3) If still problem is there change the style & approach of the study
4) At last restudy , restudy for getting the right results with improvement at every time.
