An individual's personality may be defined as the uniqueness that an individual possess, that is different from the other people, which also affects the way that an individual behaves.

The five components of the personality are

Openness to experience: It reflects the degree of creativity and preference to accept new things that are different to his nature and behavior. It might also be defined as the ability of the person to accept change. Highly open may might also be categorized as people who lack focus.

Conscientiousness: It is the type of behavior that shows that a person is organized in his thoughts and does everything in a planned manner. He does not act randomly. But on the hind side, highly conscientiousness might also indicate that the person is so rigid and is not flexible to the situation.

Extraversion: They are the kind of people who are highly positive, full of emotions and seeking the attention of other people all the time. People who do not exhibit this kind of a emotions are always seem to be separate and they do not mingle with the people.

Agreeableness: This kind of personality behavior tend to agree to other people's actions all the time. They are very compassionate and they will feel for the other's situations. They then to be very trustworthy and helpful people.

Neurotism: These kind of people tend to be highly nervous and sensitive to situations. All the situations get into their mind so easily. They lack a kind of emotional stability.

Practically speaking we cannot say that anyone type of a personality is good to possess and one of the personalities is bad and not desirable. You need to exhibit different kind of personality at different types of situations. Human beings themselves are chosen to be of that kind, where they could exhibit a mixture of emotions.
