Previously the organisation structure was very flat and doesn’t have proper communication hierarchy to delegate the task and responsibilities. Thus some changes proposed on the current organisation

Benefits:

Evaluate how the proposed change may affect various groups of employees.

Employees have mixed feeling about the implemented changes.Work become organised and object oriented after the new classifications. Line managers could understand the requirement of task and resposibilties and how to delegate it properly. Presence of different department make the organisation structure more compact and transparent. Budgeting and allocation helps the top manageemtn to understand the overall cost incurred for driving the organisation

Some concerns are related to employee engagement and performance management. Incntives based on relative performance creates some politics inside the teams to showcase their performance. Department wise also budget related constrains were there and they challenged about the requirements as well. More operational aspctes were not covered in the organisational change as many contingenecies and un expected resource level costs are involved and not taken in to account. Productivity checks feel employees lack of freedom as they aware that they are getting monitored on daily basis.

Such conflicts are anticipated as change in organisation and its department might affect various process related activities and internal politics. Risk mitigation and assessment is required in such cases to avoid the conflict to go beyond certain level.

Channels can be of direct and in direct .

Best way to communicate between small team is through face to face discussions, where all can participate on the same ground and can discuss about the specified topics. Employees can address their concerns directly and can move ahead for resolving. HR can arrange short meetings with the team , where they get enough freedom to express themselves.

Train employees for e mail etiquettes and effective communication to avoid un necessary conflicts

Balance employee relationship across department through proper interaction and friendly atmosphere.

Conduct events like sports and arts that encourages them to showcase their skills and buidil team management.

Clear cut visionaries and goals can be communicated through mails to document it officially.

Encourage more e- related communications rather than through phone or f2f to utilise more technology related communication.
