One of our four MBA program objectives focuses on student ethical development. Another focuses on your development as a leader who can solve problems in an unpredictable environment. In this discussion, you will explore how your knowledge of organizational behavior will make you a more ethical problem-solver.

Identify three topics covered in this course that will enhance your ability to be an ethical problem-solver. For each topic, give examples of ways you will change your behavior because of knowledge gained in this course.
Explanation / Answer
Knowledge of Organisational Behaviour is must before we actually want to have practical aspect of the problem solving. A problem can be solved by any person, but then why organisations prefer MBA's? There must be some reasons and yes the reason is very clear. The study of organisation behaviour can teach you about the possible attributes that different levels of managament have. Not only that with this information, you learn that the way of problem solving has to differ across various management levels. Ethics also would differ according to the level of work and the level of management.
One more thing that organisational behaviour can tell is about the motivation of the employees. Each employee behaves differently or atlease not same to the motivation provided by the senior managers. By actually learning how you must look at the motivation and morale of different employee differently, decision making and problem solving at work is going be really easy and ethical.
One more thing that MBA would teach you about is Business ethics and Social responsibilities of a business. Thus knowing the Corporate Governance norms in advance can really fetch us ethical decisions as well as the quick problem solving
