In the dynamic world of Medical Devices, organizations have to keep introducing new concepts, ideas, models and uses of technology. There is intense pressure from all stakeholders in an extremely competitive environment. Continuous innovation is the order of the day to stay aead of the curve.

Competence is a key driver for success in the Medical Devices industry. The ability to execute, that too rapidly, makes all the difference! This is amplified by the shorter duration of patents and the sensitivity of the industry due to it's direct impact on human lives. Organizations are also more open to collaboration and have the mechanisms of doing so effectively. No firm can operate in isolation any longer.

Some of the key drivers for the success lie in the fact that organizations now thrive in very dynamic environments. They have got used to dealing with change compared to, say 50 years back. Another key factor is the flattening of the world. This provides organizations with a lot more innovative ideas, capabilities and collaboration opportunities.
