1. Yes, is it important for renewable energy sources to replace fossil fuels because fossils reserves are very limited. Once exhausted, it is difficult to replace fossil reserves, it takes millions of years for the fossil to form. Whereas renewable resources like Solar energy is available in unlimited quatities because every day we can havee the solar energy. If we are able to catch and uilise the solar energy in a better way we can preserve the fossil reserves to the maximum extent, and also can balance natural calamites caused by such extensive uses of these reserves.
