1.The molecular weight of unknown will decrease if some amount of unknown sticks to metal stirring rod because this amount counts, when the weight is calculated as the metal stirring rod is still inside the benzophenone then .
But when this metal stirring rod is removed, that unknown which is stuck to it also comes out along with the rod. So the calculated weight is more, but the amount dissolved in benzophenone will br eventually less.
