It is semisynthetic cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and middle ear infections. Patients experiencing renal failure or with a history of colitis should avoid taking cephadrine. It can be taken with or without food, and should be avoided during breastfeeding.
