ans E. nixtamalized ( lye treated) corn and beans
lysine , tryptophan and methionine are important amino acids of our body that are required to produce protein. So they must be ingested from the external food sources.
Nixtamalized corn is the corn treated with alkaline solution usually lime water and then hulled. It is done to remove alfatoxins from the mycotoxin contaminated corn.It also improved the niacin content in maize.
The over consumption of unprocessed corn caused niacin defieciency. Beans are a direct compliment to corn so they can be combined together.
