Explanation / Answer

The genetic explanation for the results would be Incomplete dominance.

The Orange flowers have complete dominance over Pink flowers. So all F1 progeny have orange flowers and some F2 progeny have White flowers because it shows a bit of incomplete dominance in this case

Parents - Rr ( Orange)     Pp (Pink)

F1 - RPrp (Orange)

F2 - rrpp ( Pink)

       rrPP , rrPp ( white )

Rest will be Orange
