We have to write the reaction between them first:

NaOH + HCl -----> NaCl + H2O

this equation always shows the relation in moles

1 mol NaOH reacts with 1 mol HCl to form 1 mol NaCl

moles can be obtained = mass/ molar mass

or moles = molarity x volume in litres

from here heat of neutralization can be obtained

n = no. of moles of NaOH reacted

H = molar heat of neutralization
