So here is the scenario: I just caught a giant shark on my deep sea fishing boat, feel free to assume that this is a great white, and I failed to shoot it in the head before getting it on the deck of my boat. So accordingly, it is currently flopping on the deck of my boat struggling for survival, if i were to throw a live animal(kitten preferably) would it proceed to engage the kitten or would it ignore the kitten in hopes of finding water. Please assume this would be a delicious kitten.  More specifically, which of the shark's needs trumps the other: the need for water to survive or the need to eat tasty felines.

Explanation / Answer

based on maslows hierarchy of needs, the shark would try to get to the water because that was the need that was first deprived.
