mass of O2 = 16.8 g

we have below equation to be used:

number of mol of O2,

n = mass of O2/molar mass of O2

=(16.8 g)/(32 g/mol)

= 0.525 mol

From reaction,

when 2 mol of O2 burns, heat released = 890.0 KJ

So, for 0.525 mol of O2, heat released = 890.0*0.525/2

= 234 KJ
