Question

Use PopG to simulate the evolution of 10 populations. I do not understand how or where to do this, and don't have access to a computer. 13. Use PopG to simulate the evolution of 10 populations, each with a size of 5o0 and an underdominant fitness distribution (fitness of AAs 1: Aa-o99: aa = 1). Stan the simulations at an initial frequency of A = 0.5 and run it for 1,000 generations. After running those conditions 5 times, re-run them 5 more times with a migration rate of 0.1 between populations. What happens in these simulations? What is the effect of migration?

Explanation / Answer

first of all you, ned to have a system if you want the accurate results.

Secondly for the above question,

first simulation will be done without any mutation or migration.

After 5 time run you have to consider the migration rate of 0.1

then you have to again run the simoulation taking migration into consideration.

After doing above simulation, initially five run with no migration and then with migration rate 0.1

I found that the P value reaches zero hence the allele A will be lost after 1000 generation.

Please run the software for appropriate results.
