Automatic updating of a date range in a COUNTIFS formula?????

I am trying to create a spreadsheet that I can use on a weekly basis to calculate from a new table with the same headings every week.

The COUNTIFS function works perfectly but I have three different series of dates that I have to do each new week. How can I update the date ranges in all of the formulas every week?

I tried just using a set of blocks that I can type the new dates in every week but the formula does not work. Please help! Here is a brief example

D5 should return a vale of 3 but it will not work based on the value of a different cell.

=countifs(h6:h15,1,i6:i15,1,g6:g15,">="&h2,g6:g15,"<="&i2)

h2 has the beginning date

i2 has the ending date
