Q1: This assignment is intended to give you hands-on experience on cracking password in the real world. Please download Hash_Suite_Free_3_1 application from [1] that will be used to crack passwords based on the supplied hash file pwdump-asg2.txt that contains hash values generated from the passwords that you are supposed to recover. [25 marks]

Please use the two supplied word list file separately

(i) small-wordlist (with 3151 words) and (ii) large-wordlist (with 10000 words [3]).

After you crack the hashes in the pwdump-asg3.txt file, please export the results in txt format and submit along with the following summary report:

- Report how many hash values were present in the pwdump-asg2.txt file.

- For each of the wordlist, how many passwords were cracked by the tool?

- For each of the wordlist, how much time it took to complete the cracking process?

- Please report your machine characteristics including the processor name, speed (GHz), and RAM size.

- Suggest what could be possibly done to increase the number of cracked passwords?

I downloaded the Hash Suite 3.2 please refer below the screenshot.

But you haven't supplied me the pwdump-asg2.txt which contains the hash values.

Also you haven;t provided me the pwdump-asg3.txt file.

So please provide me the required txt files so that i can continue with the question and get you the expected results.
