What problem would you encounter if you tried to create a listing by Last Name?

You wont be able to differentiate between different individuals as there might be lot of individuals with the same last name.

What other problems do you see?

Data Redundancy. there should be a table which will contain personal details like name and the corresponding individual unique id.And for the above table it can refer to the Individuals table with foreign key. With the help of this we will not be replicating the names of the person in above table and only Id will be shown.
