Explanation / Answer

In the given three pairs , CaBr2(s) ,BaI2(s) these two substances have lower molar entropythan all others. The reason is solids have less entropy than gases. By thedefination of entropy we know that the substance which has adifinite volume and shape it contains lower entropy. Entropy is a one of the state function, it measures thedisorder or randomness of the substance at constant temperature. Hence solids have lowest entropy than gases.
