Volume of air= V= 10.0L

PV= nRT

n= PV/RT= 0.941x10.0/0.0821x295 = 0.388moles

number of moles of air= 0.388 moles

mass of CO2= 5.7 grams

molar mass of CO2=44 grams

number of moles of CO2 = 5.7/44= 0.1295 moles

Total number of moles= 0.388 + 0.1295= 0.5175 moles

mole fraction of CO2 = number of moles of CO2/total numbe of moles

mole fraction of CO2= 0.1295/0.5175= 0.25
