Emerging diesease is the infectious diesease whose indicence has increased in the recent past and may increase in the near future . Nearly, 30% of the life are lost globally every year due to the infectious diease. These emerging disease pose the economic, development challenges to the developing countries to cope up the cause of disease.
Re-emerging disease, any medical disease (usually infection) that reappear which was once endemic but has been controlled or eradicated is called re-emerging disease.
Moreover, the emerging of the drug resistance such as Multi Drug reisitance (MDR) and extensively drug resistance (XDR) tuberculosis and malaria impose a new challenge globally. Eradication of small pox reinforce the elinimation of infection disease. Improved sanitation and proper vaccination may contribute to the factors.Adaptation by the pathogen in the existing environment exploit the new pathogenic characteristic of the causative agent, that apppear as more powerful with re-occurence and make the treatment more difficult. the muation in the viral strain is the most common cause of the new illness, making the studies, vaccination, treatment more difficult. The incidence of diptherria, a vaccine preventable disease reduced it effectiveness, which result in the re-emergence of such disease Example of the emerging are HIV/AIDS, SARS, H1N1, H5N1 influenza and re-emerging disease are cholera, chikungunia, diptheria etc
