Since both the compounds are ionic, We generally compare melting point of these compounds on the following basis :-
1.Charge of the cation /anion : More the charge of cation or anion, stronger will be the forces of attraction between the ions and higher will be the melting point.
Here charge on both compounds is same.
2.Ionic radii: More the distance between ions, lesser will be the strength of the bond giving rise to lesser melting point.
Here size of Iodine in NaI is large as compared to Chlorine in NaCl therefore lesser will be strength of bond in NaI.   Hence lesser melting point.
Hence option (c) is correct
