1)To get H2 for fuel source, we would have to dissociate it from Hydrocarbons or water molecules. (water in this case of the question)Doing so would take all of the energy and more than we could get back since the energy released from burning H2 with a oxidizer to H2O (water) produces as much energy as it takes to dissociate water into its base components H2 and O2.

In other words, it takes energy to produce hydrogen from water and the energy it would release as a fuel is less than what it would take to make it(from electrolysis of water).

Therefore,the correct option is -:

(c)It would be used freely if the energy required to create the products from water weren't so high.

2)For the p-type doping,element must be doped with third group element in the periodic table.

Since,p type means excess of holes,therefore,third group has one electron deficient as compared to fourth group element,so they are perfect for producing holes(empty space of electrons with same mass and opposite charge).
