Question
HNO3, CH3COOH,NH4CL,H2CO3, C6,H5NH2i)Write a chemical reaction with base (OH) for those moleculesthat you identified as acids above. Write the formula of theconjugate bases for these molecules
ii)Write the chemical reactions with acid (H+) for thosemolecules that you identified as bases above. Write theformula of the conjugate acids for these molecules
Step by step procedure to acquiring answers to the questionsabove would be truly appreciated. Thank you!

Explanation / Answer
1) HNO3, CHECOOH, H2CO3 are all acids I will write one the rest are the same Each will form water and the conjugate base. For example : HNO3 + OH- = HNO2 + H2O. Repeat this process for the rest Conjugate base is onehydrogen less than the acid Conjugate bases as follows: HNO2, CH3COO, HCO3 2) Bases are NH4Cl, salt, and C6H5NH2 All you do with these reactions is for the AcidComponent. For example for NH4Cl +H = NH4 + HCl Repeat for the other process Conjugate acids as folows: NH4+ and C6H5NH3+ Jsut repeat this process and you will get your answer. GoodLuckRelated Questions
