Question
so what i have so far is:
deltaH_fusion=(T_fusion)*(deltaS_fusion)
deltaS_fusion= (deltaP/deltaT)*(deltaV)
T_fusion = 372.54K
not sure how to use density to get the volume?
any help would be appreciated
The densities of a given solid and liquid of molar mass 147.2 g mol-1 at its normal melting temperature of 372.54 K are 992.6 and 933.4 kg m"3, respectively .If the pressure is increased to 120. bar, the melting temperature increases to 375.88 K. Using Clapeyron equation calculate DeltaH fusion and Delta H fusion m for this substance.Explanation / Answer
density = mass/ vol.
volume = mass of the substance /density
