1 Get off oil he means is shifting it's usage of petroleum and shifting to other sources of energy, like solar energy or wind energy, etc and usage of battery powered cars. I agree because at some point of time every country has to shift to green energy, and already some countries had sucessfully shifted. Military dont want to fight on the ground of oil, and for a better casuse probably. His proposal opens an insight into future of energy, not only for america about the global usage. His sense is absolutely valid.
