1) One reason for studying population size in natural ecosystems is , at first population grows fast becuase of the availability of resources.So it will be known to us how the population size will be when the resources are full.

The second reason for studying population size in natural ecosystems is ,once the population increases there will be competition for resources and the resources will become scarce ,consequently the population will decrease and it will known to us how the population size will be when the resources are scarce.
