Throw away plastic becoming environmental menace of the world.
All the living things in the ecosystem adversely effected by throw away plastic.
E 2) Elaborate on the problem by answering the following:
a) explain fully in several sentences where the throwaway trash comes from and where they end up. (2 pt)
The throw away plastic thrash comes domestic and industries. People by items from shop bring home in carry bags. After that they throw away them in garbage bins.
The Municipality collect them and dump them in waste land area. But after sometime them flow with rain water into stream and into rivers and into sea. So they are closing sea water and river waters and water bodies all over the world
b) Trace (outline) the path of American plastic trash in the oceans, identifying its possible source and final repository. Provide specifics. (3 pt)
The plastic trash of America ultimately reaching ocean from villages, towns and cities. Most of the plastic we use in our day to day life. After that we throw it away as thrash. But where it go. It can’t be digested by soil so remain on surface. When ever wind flows or rain water flows, this plastic thrash flows with that reaches low lying areas which are either sea coast or lakes. Then they will be consumed by animals, fish etc. which effect their health.
E 3) Exemplify the concept: Identify and describe the various types of plastic trash in the ocean debris? (2 pt)
In modern life use of plastic gained much important. As it is cheap, easily useable to for food products carrying and storing. So people are suing it without bothering their side effects. Now time has come that it may pollute entire world and make our lives miserable.
Plastic carry bags, bottles, tyres, plates, toys, covers etc are plastic debris found in oceans.
I 4) Illustrate the concept by answering the following:
a) Describe the effect of the trash on aquatic life? (2 pt)
Plastic thrash harming aquatic life to such an extent such that getting healthy marine food going to be difficult. Fish, crabs, tortoise etc aquatic life consuming plastc debris found in the ocean water.
As the consumed plastic cause several problems on the health of aquatic life. After some time this aquatic may become poison for human consumption. We also develop health problems after consumption of the effected sea food.
b) Explain how the samples are analyzed? (2 pt) and
The samples analysed are of different sizes. The samples collected from 5mm size to 1/3 mm size. They used to study how these sizes consumed by aquatic life. They found many pieces such sizes plastic materials in the stomach fishes. The author says what would be the effect of it on our life if we consume such fishes.
c) Reflect on your life activities and indicate if you have ever contributed to this debris. Explain fully. (2 pt)
Yes I am also contributing in this plastic debris problem. Whenever I buy vegetables, grocery from shops I have to use plastic bags. The cool drinks and water in plastic bottles we use everywhere.
After use we take maximum care to throw away in garbage bin. But after that the entire plastic thrash carried by trucks to nearby dump yards away from human activity. But this thrash remains as it is over a land period and transported to water bodies or seas by wind or rain water.
