Explanation / Answer

1.

A. Local economies and commerce: Oceans have many economical minerals in shallow or deeper areas. At shallower regions of the oceans contain gas hydrates and other biogenesis materials. At deeper areas of the oceans contain manganese nodules, iron, and nickel. Shallower minerals in the oceans are easy to explore when compared to the deeper minerals. Hydrocarbons explore from the most of the oceans at shallower depths thought out the world.

B. International relationships: Ocean ways are very helpful for importing and exporting of the many products. Every country must need some minerals for the development, which minerals export from the other countries through the ocean way. Due to this, the international relationships between the countries become stronger.

C. The global economy: Coastal counties have international boundaries. So, these countries explore minerals within the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). The coastal countries do not have any rights to explore minerals above EEZ without permission from the world ocean research center.
