Explanation / Answer

Ans 1. Iliacus, rectus femoris, psoas major.

Iliacus and psoas major together are flexors of the hip joint called iliopsoas and rectus femoris is flexor of the thigh at the hip joint. Hence they are antagonists to the extensor muscles of hip.

Ans 2. Femoral nerve innervates the muscles of extension of the knee. i.e quadriceps.
