A) Convert 0.20 g/cm3 to mg

= 200 mg/cm3

use the formula density (d) = mass (m)/ volume (v)

volume (v) = 50.0 mg/ 200 mg/cm3

v = 0.25 cm3

B) convert 50 mg to gram = 0.05 g

then multiply with 1242

= 0.05 x 1240 = 62.1 m2

C) (7.748 / 7.747) x 100

= 99.99 %

D)

The mass of the Hg is 7.747 mg.
The mass of the spongy material 10.0 mg.
final mass = 7.747 + 10 =17.747 mg
