a)

to convert the pressure unit from mmHg into bar uses the following expression:

1 bar = 750.064 mmHg

755 mmHg (mmHg) *1 bar /750.064 mmHg

= 1.00658 Bar

b)

first calculate the number of moles in 10.0 L of H2 as follows:

PV= nRT

P = 1.00658 Bar or 0.99 atm

V= 10.0 L , R= 0.0821 L-atm / mol K, T = 26.0 °C or 299 K

n= PV/RT

n= 0.99 atm*10.0 L /.0821 L-atm / mol K *299 K

n= 0.40 mol Hydrogen

Now calculate the moles of Al as follows:
