Radius of a glass tube r = 2.5/2 = 1.25 cm which should be converted to dm = 0.125 dm

Length of the tube - 5.5m which should be converted to dm= 55dm

Volume of cylinder = 3.14 x (0.125)^2 x 55 = 2.698dm3

P = 1.75/760 = 0.002303

T = 32+273 = 305 K

substituting in the formula n = PV/RT = (0.002303*2.698)/(0.0821*305) where R is a gas constant we get the answer = 0.004984 moles

Concentration of neon = molecular weight of neon x number of moles = 20.18g/mol x 0.004984 mol = 0.101g

The concentration of neon in the tube is 0.101g
