From this reaction, 25% conversion of ethylene in reaction was observed and the reactor outlet stream is found to contain 2 mol CO_2 per 1 mol H_2O. The feed flowrate to the reactor is set at 100 mol/hr. Construct degree of freedom and show the process is correctly specified. Calculate the molar flowrate of all components in the outlet stream. Determine the yield of C2H4O from C2Ut in the process using the following correlation Overall yield = moles of C2H4O produced/,oles of C2H4O should produce if all C2H4 fed was used to produce C2H4O only

CO2=(0.01*100 mol/hr)+((0.25*10 mol/hr)*2)=6 mol/hr

H2O=((0.25*10 mol/hr)*2)=5 mol/hr

N2=0.78*100 mol/hr=78 mol/hr

C2H4O2=10 mol/hr*0.75=7.5 mol/hr.
