for case 1 PV= 10*4= 40L.atm for the second case PV=8*5= 40 L.atm (Boyles law is obeyed since K1=K2=40L.atm)

b) from P1V1= P2V2 ( Boyles law)

P2= 17*8.5/4.3 =33.6 atm
