Question
Hello I am doing a Chemistry Lab and I do not understand this lab.
I have to watch this video
Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qlHHPCkCKE&feature=youtu.be *Only 1 minute long
Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XeWFX3fnTI&feature=youtu.be * Only 2 minute long
Can someone help me answer these questions with the sub questions? I am confused. And explain please
--How does the slope change with time for a given species?
--Is the slope the same for all species?
--What is the sign of the slope for the reactants?
--What is the sign of the slope for the product?
Explanation / Answer
The videos show the inversion vs the cost in other terms. This means that as A+B are mixed in order to produce C
A+B are going to decrease their concentration and C is going to increase its concentration.
A. the slope is nothe the same for all species. As the slope of A and B decrease, the C slope increase.
B. the sign of the slope for reactants is negative, which means they are decreasing but after a time they become constants.
C. the sign of the slope of the products is positive which means in increasing its concentration but after a time it becomes constant.
