Explanation / Answer
1. False: In the case Roe vs Wade. the supreme cort actually disallowed some states and federal restrictions on abortion, but itproposed that the states and the federal restrictions may apply only in the third trimester. Therefore the statement is false according to me.
2.False: The case Roe vs Wade created a lot of controversy and till date there has been a divide in the decision makers as they have fallen into a Pro-abortion or Anti abortion camps. 4. True: The partial-birth abortion ban act was passed in 2003 by the Bush government but by 2005 many state courts overturned this ban in consideration of the fact that the law did not consider the protection of health of the fetus.
5. False: No the court dismissed the case as it felt that it could not regulate abortion during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy or delegate to a spouse veto power.
