Scenario
Mr.X designed his curriculum including all the essential knowledge, understanding and skills which is similar to the standards that is being used in his district. Presently his students are studding the relationship between rights and responsibilities of the citizens under the U.S. constitution. He wants all of his students to explore and understand that democracies balance the right and responsibility of the citizen who live there. In his class there are 32 students all have different degree of understanding, three of them are affected by the disabilities in reading and writing, for of his students are having advanced knowledge of his subject. He also encounter numerous students have difficulties on staying on task, some of them have no formal label, some of the students have liked history and some have found dull and disconnected from their lives. So there is an great variation in the students interest and learning preferences in his class.
Mr. X begins teaching keeping two goals in mind, First, He deigned tasks and assessments such that all students can understand the topic and can apply it in their life. Secondly, he make instructional using different material, time frames, student groupings and modes of students expression to ensure each student have full support during their learning phase.
