Question
The Sun Sunspot Jet passing in front of the Sun Warning: Never look at the Sun without the proper equipment. Introduction Below is diagram showing the layers of the Sun that can be directly observed. We can only "see" into the interior with sophisticated techniques such as helioseismology. Corona Chromosphere Photosphere Interior of the Sun Region of the Thickness (km) Density T Temperature (K) (kg/m3) Sun 150,000 at core 15 million at core 696,000 Core to Photosphere 5800 2 x 10-4 Photosphere 500 4500 5 x 10-6 1500 Chromosphere 1 million about 1 million 10 12 Corona (turns into the Solar Wind)Explanation / Answer
see here we have to calculate frequency for node 3 and 5 ok so what we have is
wavelength * frequency = 3*108
so for Node 3= wave length - 400nm ( given in table 1.2 read specification the transition of alpha is from noe to three)
ok now putting the value in equation we got,
frequency = 3*108 / 400 = 7.5 *105 Hz
similarly for node 5
we have wavelength -510nm (from table 1.2)
now
frequency = 3*108/510 = 588235.294118
= 5.88*105 Hz
for nodes
node 3 - 7.5* 105 Hz
node 5 - 5.88 *105 Hz
