Society places great value on being well-informed. people who keep up with current events in their communities and the world are generally proud of their knowledge. But often the news is bad, and worse still, we usually cannot do anything to change the situations or circumstances we learn about. In that case, isn't it better not to know what's going on. Topic: Is it better not to know what is going on if we cannot do anything about it?
Can anyone help me with writing a introduction paragraph using a hook with a story to introduce this topic in my essay. (50words)

Staying neutral is better if we can’t do anything on a matter. But knowing things can’t be worse off irrespective of the situation of influencing. Gathering information and knowledge about our surroundings is always desirable, because it gives us adequate precaution before taking any step.
Suppose the railway department recently issued a circular not to carry pet dog while traveling. A traveler knowing this matter can’t help to change the law, but it helps him enriching his knowledge before traveling.
