The number of illegal immigrants flowing into the United States is increasing at an alarming rate. As these immigrants have entered the country through illegal means, they do not pay their taxes, nor do they have any insurance.
When these people are admitted into the hospitals for emergency care, they receive the medical care from the hospitals but due to lack of insurance cover, they stay in the hospital for a long time. All this time, the government ends up paying for the treatment of these patients out of the funds paid by the American taxpayers.
According to me the logical solution to this problem would be to provide only the emergency care and then transfer such people back to their own respective country for further treatment.
