The B field midway between will cancel, so we will get zero.

Part B)

The formula that applies here is F = uI/2pir for each wire

F = (4pi X 10-7)(3.45)/(2pi)(.39485) + (4pi X 10-7)(3.45)/(2pi)(.29715)

F = 4.07 X 10-6 N
