Question
First submitter has a wrong answer. I would appreciate if you take a look at my question.
An object of mass m = 3.6 g and charge Q = +44 C is attached to a string and placed in a uniform electric field that is inclined at an angle of 30.0 with the horizontal. The object is in static equilibrium when the string is horizontal.
(a) Find the magnitude of the electric field.
ans must be in N/C
(b) Find the tension in the string. ans must be in N
A small object of mass 0.025 kg and charge 2.7 C hangs from the ceiling by a thread. A second small object, with a charge of 4.2 C, is placed 1.7 m vertically below the first charge.
(a) Find the electric field at the position of the upper charge due to the lower charge.
(b) Find the tension in the thread.
You can disregard question 2 if it's too much. I will increase points if both questions were correctly answered!
