O Macrophages O Natural killer cells B-cellsExplanation / Answer
7. Fish - single loop circulation blood passes through heart once before going to tissue.
Amphibians - double loop circulation, blood goes through the heart twice but mixes with deoxygenated blood returning from the tissue.
Mammals- double loop circulation, complete separation of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.
Double circulation means blood circulation has 2 circuits. Same blood comes two times in heart. In one blood is pumped to the lungs and in another blood is pumped to the tissue.
But in single circulation blood flow is unidirectional. Blood flows from gills to lung then to heart and next pumped to the tissue.
And in case of amphibians they have 3 chambers 2 auricles and 1 ventricle so oxygenated and deoxygenated blood mixes.
8. The answer is - B cells.
B cells are responsible for humoral and innate immunity. B cells secrete antibodies in response to innate immunity.
9. The answer is- antigen.
Antigens are responsible for any immune response. They are located on pathogens.
10. All that apply for cell mediated immunity are-
Macrophages are also key players of cellular immunity. They perform the role of phagocytosis.
