How long does it take the bus to stop? A car whose initial speed is 30.0 m/s slows at a rate of -3 m/s^2 in 5.00 s. Determine the final velocity of the car. The driver of a car sees a traffic light turn red, and goes from 80 km/hr to a dead stop in 9 sec. Calculate the car's acceleration. (Careful!)
