From conservation of momentum

m1u1 +m2u2 = m1v1 +m2v2

(1850*1.5) - (1350*1.1) = (1850*0.27) +(1350*v2)

v2 =0.586 m/s

(b)Change in kinetic energy K1 -K2 = (1/2)m1u1^2+(1/2)m2u2^2 - (1/2)m1v1^2 -(1/2)m2v2^2

= (0.5*1850*1.5*1.5)+ (0.5*1350*1.1*1.1) - (0.5*1850*0.27*0.27) - (0.5*1350*0.586*0.586)
