Let a be the acceleration.

We know that the magnetic force on a moving charge is given by:

F = q v B Also F = ma

ma = q v B

a = q v B/m

a = 1.6 x 10-19 x 2000 x 0.05 x 10-3 / 1.67 x 10-27 = 9.5 x 106 m/s2

Hence, a = 9.5 x 106 m/s2

We know that the magnetic force on the moving charge is perpendicular to both the velocity and magnetic field.

From right hand rule, If magnetic field is upwards(fingers), the charge is moving parallel to ground(thumb), it will get diverted to follow a curve path because of the magnetic force. The magnetic force will be along the direction of palm.
