A liver biopsy was performed. Tissue sections revealed fatty metamorphosis and an increase in fibrous tissue in portal areas consistent with early cirrhosis. Large amounts of parenchymal iron were noted with Prussian blue staining.

the person has haemoglobin results as 14g/dL and which is normal and is in between the range of 14-18g/dL hence the person is not effected with anaemia. according to the patients report he has iron deficiency early cirrhosis and large amount of parenchymal iron in Prussian blue stain was noticed and the diagnosis for this is hemochromatosis and a phlebotomy and a physical examination. in peripheral blood normal RBCs will appear and as inflamtions are there in liver WBC's may be increased in number . the most common cause of cirrhosis is alcohol intake as it damages the liver cells . treatment for this early stage is to reduce ir slow the damage that occuring to liver cells and adviced to quit alcohol lose weight etc.
